Thank you to the University of Guelph’s Retirees for your support of the 2001 United Way Campaign. As a group, you generously donated $36,955 to help local people in need.

The United Way of Guelph and Wellington supports 105 local, human service programs and ser-vices such as Meals on Wheels, shelters for abused women and children, help for the disabled, support for the troubled, break-fast programs and many others. These programs are available for anyone in our community who needs help.

Your support of United Way is commendable. These donations will help others to understand the vital importance of giving and of helping others to help themselves. On behalf of the thousands of men, women and children who call for and receive help from our program funded agencies, thank you.
